The Busy Barrow Company builds on the huge experience and knowledge of Black Country Pressings which is an ISO 9001:2000 acredited company. Small and versatile, with decades of tool-making experience it has built up a quality reputation for all tool-making specifications.
Fabrication
Black Country Pressings serves a wide range of trades from the lock industry to the construction and medical industries. It also carries out a broad spectrum of development work and prototyping, such as The Busy Barrow, for new projects.
Genesis of The Busy Barrow™
Building a garden on the steep slopes of the Ironbridge Gorge, Shropshire, England proved to be a challenge for a conventional wheelbarrow, so designer Ivan Williams set about inventing a multi-terrain wheelbarrow that was up the the job. The result is the Busy Barrow™ - a remarkable piece of innovation that not only makes gardening easier, it significantly reduces stress and strain on the muscle joints. Testing by the University of Worcester concluded, that the Busy Barrow lessens the overall impact on the body by as much as 45 per cent when compared to a conventional wheelbarrow. Great news for anyone who suffers from back/joint pain and any gardener who wants to avoid developing joint problems in the future.
